Gobstoppers

Gobstoppers Theatre Company was founded in 1994 and has branched out in many different directions including being a registered centre for G.C.S.E and A level drama and carrying out charity work.

We have a very good reputation in the area, as an activity centre for children and for highly professional performance in particular.
The Performing Arts & Productions are split into different age groups. Each group will perform in up to two full scale community productions a year.
Community Involvement

Gobstoppers has visited and sung at Old People’s Homes and in a variety of schools in the area. They have performed as part of the Hemel Hempstead Drama Festival at Hemel Hempstead School .
The Future
There are currently 9 different drama classes running after school and over the weekends, with over 150 members. We would like to increase this further by opening up mother and toddler classes, adult learning, speech & language and corporate sessions.
Gobstoppers holds a no ability needed ethos, to encourage children to be confident and willing to take part in something within the local community. We have found that performances and productions in drama and musical theatre encourage children to be part of something that will have an positive and life enhancing experience.
