Team Gobstoppers Principal & Artistic Director - Victoria Williams Victoria Williams is the founder of Gobstoppers Theatre Company. In the past few years Victoria has written, produced and directed numerous productions for and outside the company. Her work has been presented in America , among other places, and has been performed by herself and other professional actors. As a teacher she has been Head of Department in two different schools and is currently in charge of the LAMDA programme both with Gobstoppers and at the historic Berkhamsted School . Chris has a long histor of professional acting work, both in musical theatre and on television. After working in the West End on a number of occasions and having been involved with groups such as Chicken Shed Theatre co, Chris developed a specific interest in working with children, and particularly those with special needs. Chris has taught in several schools as Head of Drama and been through many OFSTED inspections were Drama was specifically praised for its achievement. Chris has taught atEgerton Rothesay School in Berkhamsted asthe Head of Performing Arts. Chris’s approach in all educational areas of his life is to offer what is the absolute best for the students involved, which has meant introducing new courses and new ideas to suit the demands of the individuals. He now teaches part time at St Clement Danes School in Chorleywood and tours the country with his 'GREASE NIGHTS' entertainment.
Music Specialist - Anthony Wilson
Anthony is a professional musician who has a special interest in the artistic education of children. As well as having worked with Gobstoppers for five years, Anthony has been conducting choirs for over 15 years and has worked with the National Children’s Choir amongst other children’s groups and has spent four years as a full-time Music teacher. He is the founder of Triage, an international performance trio, producer, director and musical director at Hillingdon Musical Society, musical director of Chorleywood Opera, Head of Music at the MargaretHoward College as well as Head of Music in a Tower HamletsPrimary School . He is also a commissioned composer who arranges and writes for church and theatre, including a Requiem Mass and three musicals. His work has been played on Classic FM. Anthony is also the other half of the Champagne Boys with Chris.
